Lenox, MA -  Dr. Marina Zaretskaya-Fuchs, a board-certified neurologist, has opened a private practice, Neurology Care In The Berkshires, at 55 Pittsfield Road, Suite 8B in Lenox Commons.

Dr. Zaretskaya-Fuchs practiced as a neurologist at Middlesex Hospital in Middletown, Conn., and, for six years, at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield.

She completed her residency program at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, and a neurophysiology fellowship at the university-affiliated Hennepin County Medical Center. She received her medical degree from Kiev State Medical School in Ukraine.

Dr. Zaretskaya-Fuchs has done research on neuromuscular diseases, and more specifically, peripheral neuropathy.

She is specialized in general neurology, electrophysiology and movement disorders. She is active in academic research, and has been published nationally and internationally, and is a member of both the American Academy of Neurology and American Academy of Electrophysiology.

She resides in Dalton with her husband and two children. She enjoys spending her free time hiking, playing tennis, reading Russian poetry, as well as traveling and exploring the world.
